Mara Najla

	Mara Najla has been bellydancing for 4 years. Though she has no other formal dance training, she is widely known for her ‘cabbage patch’ and ‘sprinkler’. Since her first class, it has been a quiet takeover of everything she had ever known…a slow obsession. She has been blessed to learn from a few of the goddesses of bellydance- Jamileh, Marianna, Adira and Jessica Jane Means. Currently she is discovering her dark bellydance side under the fabulous tutelage of Ms. Aepril Schaile, Dark Diva Extraordinaire.
Mara Najla is super excited to be a part of Naya’s Trance!! Mara is a Hebrew variation of Mary and was chosen in honor of her amazing mother (whose name is-coincidentally-Mary); Najla is Arabic and translates as 'one with the large and beautiful eyes'. She couldn’t decide and thus chose both gorgeous names.
