Ahnalya (meaning fire and thunder) is an accountant by day, belly dancer by night.  Having been closed out of an Adult Ed. Italian class, she chose on a lark to take belly dance instead. Intimidated at first, she was soon addicted.

She has been studying for three years now. Through the expert teachings of Josie Conte, Jamileh, and Jessica Means, her passion for the dance has flourished.

As a member of Naya's Trance, Ahnalya has performed at the  Center for Cultural Exchange, The Mayo St. Church, Velvet Fashion Show/Benefit and a variety of other venues.

Ahnalya is looking forward to a future filled with the artful beauty that is belly dance.
