Azalea began belly dancing in 2003 and since then she has been enchanted  by the beauty of this art form.   
Discovering this magical  dance form that allows women to move their body in a very natural way has changed her life by giving her a new appreciation of her own femininity. 

Azalea has studied this ancient art form with various instructors including Jessica Jane Means and Jamileh.  

She has performed in a variety of venues including local studio shows and haflis.  She has also performed in local community events including Velvet VI and the Center for Cultural Exchange Summer 2004 Festival. 

Azalea had also used her belly dance skills to follow other dance interests including classical burlesque. Along with other members of the local community Azalea performs as part of Whistlebait Burlesque.

Middle Eastern Dance will always be very dear to Azalea's heart.
